Doran Regional Park at 201 Doran Beach Road, Bodega Bay, California.

This is one of our best parks in Sonoma County. It is not just a lovely beach, it is a great spot to camp out and watch a day in the life of Bodega Bay and all this little Hamlet has to offer. It will be breeze most of the time as well as some kind of clouds, but it is rarely uncomfortable if you have a jacket and sunscreen. There are always folks from all over enjoying the sand and waves. The Coast Guard Station us just North in the Bay and fun to watch them doing their thing. You can see many kinds of wildlife and of course probably more Sea Gulls than you might prefer. It is an inexpensive day and if you get a County Parks Yearly Pass it is just cheap!
